@t-c-h-2-0 . Nah, I study in a boarding school. You basically live, study and social there. Onl when you study in uni, you got the chance to go to bar/pub/club.

@fung-owen It is so much faster for me to type in English. (I don’t know how to type but do handwriting in chinese)

@ripper2234 Yes. But generally studying abroad allows people to be more independent and learn from other cultures which is really important

Yes Boarding school. I know people that studies in day school and that wouldn’t make much difference from studying in a hk school.

If you study in a boarding school, it is so fun. But if u migrate and live there for a long time, you may find it boring. But in overall, I would still prefer uk. (Maybe im the type of person who doesnt like stressful life like how you gain a lot of money just to get a house)

@po-city 3 years ago. Unfortunaely, I don’t agree with what you said. The are only 3 good universities (good here means good teaching and is prestigious). So people are limited fo certain universities. Although uk has so many more universities, good universities are also limited. And students who wants to apply medicine like me always have to take aptitude tests, do loads of interview, many extra curricular activities to show how all rounded you are. And I know quite a lot of students who get no offers from the uk but medicine offers from both hku/cu (people who have high scores in aptitude tests, english as good as natives and smart enough to do well in interviews)

In terms of academic, it is always less stressful than asian countries. Not becoz of the content, but the way that teachers teach you. I prefer studying in the uk than hk as here teachers teach you until you understand instead of giving you loads of notes to memorize for yourself.

Um basically in the uk we have something like 會考&高考 which are gcse and a level. UK is famous for its tasteless food and the rainy weather.
